"
Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You are the Son of God and the only
way to God; and that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again
from the dead. I give up all my rebellion and all my sin, and I submit
myself to you as my Lord. I confess all my sins before You and ask for
Your forgiveness - especially for any sins that exposed me to a curse.
Release me also from the consequences of my ancestors' sins. By a
decision of my will, I forgive all who have harmed me or wronged me -
just as I want God to forgive me. In particular, I forgive....(mention names)

I renounce contact with anything occult or satanic - - if I have any
"contact objects," I commit myself to destroy them. I cancel all
Satan's claims against me. Lord Jesus, I believe that on the cross You
took on Yourself every curse that could ever come upon me. So I ask
You now to release me from every curse over my life - in Your name,
Lord Jesus Christ! By faith I now receive my release and I thank You
for it.
- In Jesus amen"
(Keep thanking God aloud for sometime)

Bioethics and the Myth of Relativism

Interview with Father Tadeusz Pacholczyk By Giovanni Patriarca PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, JUNE 17, 2009 ( Zenit.org ).- A neuroscientist and ethicist is underlining the need to base bioethics in moral principles, and is affirming that even people who profess relativism count on certain absolutes in life. Father Tadeusz Pacholczyk is the director of education at the Philadelphia-based National Catholic Bioethics Center . He writes a monthly column for The Catholic Herald titled "Making Sense out of Bioethics." In this interview with ZENIT, he discusses some of the need to base bioethics in absolute moral principles in light of recent events related to his field. ZENIT: In recent years bioethics seems to have become a battleground where many interest groups try to impose their political views separated from any consideration of the field's moral foundations. The 2005 U.N. Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights could be considered a starting po...

The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity reported on a seven-day round of conversations that concluded Thursday. The Catholic-Pentecostal teams are considering Charisms in the Church: Their Spiritual Significance, Discernment, and Pastoral Implications. Dialogue between the Vatican and these Pentecostal groups began in 1972. The goal is not "structural unity," the Vatican statement clarified, but "to promote mutual respect and understanding in matters of faith and practice."
